The Yellow Rose Distillery in Houston is the first legal whiskey distillery in the US state of Texas. Named for a figure in local folklore, a woman known as the "Yellow Rose" of Texas. Yellow Rose Outlaw Bourbon matured in fresh American white oak barrels (Virgin Oak) for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol, without dye.
Aroma: Sweet and creamy with underlying spice, grain and mild oak.
Palate: Sweet with creamy vanilla and caramel, some clove and fruit, dry oak.
