Glenglassaugh Torfa 0.7l, 50% ABV.The Glenglassaugh distillery was founded in 1874 in the Scottish Highlands.The distillery shares the fate of many distilleries in Scotland, having had to close its doors more than once.Production only resumed in 2008, and single malt whisky was reintroduced to the market in 2012. Glenglassaugh Torfa matured for an unspecified period in ex-bourbon casks.Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, no added color, non-chill filtered.Aroma: Spicy peat smoke, robust grain, delicate fruit and sweetness. Taste: Slightly maritime with spices, apples and melons, powdered sugar and a hint of honey, spicy and smoky.
