A group led by James Allardice founded the Glendronach distillery in 1826 in the Scottish town of Huntly. Most recently under the leadership of Billy Walker, the distillery first developed into an insider tip, later into an iconic
Brand. The single malts from Glendronach, which are matured entirely in Spanish sherry casks, are particularly popular.
Glendronach 12 years matured the entire time in former sherry casks. Bottled with 43% alcohol by volume, without coloring.
Aroma: Milk chocolate and spices, subtle sweetness with nuts and hints of dark fruit.
Taste: Sweetness and spice mixed with caramel and pepper, subtle fruitiness with dry oak.
