Wolfburn First General Release 0,7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The original Wolfburn Distillery was founded in 1821 by William Smith & Co in the northern Highlands. Production ceased around 1850 and the distillery fell into disrepair. By 1872, only ruins remained. It was not until 2011 that plans were drawn up for a new distillery not far from the site of the old plant. Whisky production then began in January 2013.

Wolfburn First General Release ist die erste Standardabfüllung der Brennerei und reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in ehemaligen Islay-Quarter Casks. Abgefüllt mit 46 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Malzig-süss mit frischen Zitrusfrüchten, maritimen Noten und einem Hauch von Torfrauch.

Geschmack: Trocken-nussig mit zarter Süße, Puderzucker, helle Trauben, Gerstenmalz, grasige Frische.
