White Heather 15 Years Blended Scotch Whiskey 0.7l alc. 46% vol.

Founded in 1967, the Glenallachie Distillery is one of the younger distilleries in Scotland. Located just outside the town of Aberlour, the distillery was originally built for mass production for the blend industry. Since the takeover of the distillery by a group of investors in 2017, the focus today is on their own single malts. These are matured and post-matured in a variety of different types of casks. Glenallachie means something like "Valley of Stones". White Heather is a blended Scotch whiskey brand that has been forgotten for the last few decades. Resurrected today by Billy Walker.

White Heather 15 Year Old contains a significant proportion of Glenallachie single malt whiskey and has been matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and fresh casks (Virgin Oak). Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Sweet and creamy with notes of chocolate, aromatic sherry, toasted grain and oak.

Taste: Sweet with honey and some heather, oranges and zest, nutty with hints of almonds.
