The Tullibardine distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, originally came from a brewery. King James IV bought beer from this very brewery back in 1488. Whisky production began in 1886. It was not until 1947 that the brewery buildings were converted into today's Tullibardine Distillery. Since 2011, the distillery has been owned by the French wine and spirits group Picard Vins & Spiritueux, which owns the 'Highland Queen' brand, among others.
Tullibardine The Murray matured in ex-bourbon casks from 2008 to 2021. Bottled with a strong 56.1 % vol. alcohol, without colorant and not chill-filtered.
Aroma: Sweet with vanilla and biscuit cake batter, hints of fresh fruit, dry oak.
Taste: Fresh ginger and creamy vanilla, light fruit notes, walnuts and white chocolate.
