The Tullibardine distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, originally came from a brewery. King James IV bought beer from this brewery as early as 1488. Whiskey production began in 1886. Only in 1947 were the brewery buildings converted into today's Tullibardine Distillery. Since 2011, the distillery has been owned by the French wine and spirits group Picard Vins & Spiritueux, which owns the 'Highland Queen' brand, among others.
Tullibardine The Murray matured in ex-bourbon casks from 2008 to 2021. Bottled with a strong 56.1% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.
Nose: Sweet with vanilla and sponge cake, hints of fresh fruit, dry oak.
Taste: Fresh ginger and creamy vanilla, light fruit notes, walnuts and white chocolate.
