The Tullibardine distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, originally came from a brewery. King James IV bought beer from this very brewery back in 1488. Whisky production began in 1886. It was not until 1947 that the brewery buildings were converted into today's Tullibardine Distillery. Since 2011, the distillery has been owned by the French wine and spirits group Picard Vins & Spiritueux, which owns the 'Highland Queen' brand, among others.
Tullibardine 15 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled with 43 % vol. Alcohol, without colorant.
Aroma: Hints of hay and violets, ripe fruit notes, nutty with creamy sweetness, some oak.
Taste: Mild mix of sweetness and spice with vanilla and clove, baked apple and ripe pears.
