Torabhaig Allt Gleann Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

Next to Talisker, Torabhaig is the second distillery on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The distillery itself is housed in an old farmhouse that owner Mossburn Distillers rebuilt. To honor the history of the place, stones from the nearby Camus castle ruins were used in the construction. The first single malt whiskey was distilled in 2017.

Torabhaig Allt Gleann matured in ex-bourbon casks for an unspecified amount of time. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet with malt sugar and ashy peat smoke, spices, iodine and coniferous wood, maritime.

Palate: Pepper and juniper, underlying sweetness with powdered sugar, earthy peat smoke and citrus.
