Torabhaig Allt Gleann Batch Strength 0.7l, alc. 61.1% vol.

Torabhaig is, alongside Talisker, the second distillery on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The distillery itself is housed in an old farmhouse, which the owner Mossburn Distillers rebuilt. To honor the history of the place, stones from the nearby Camus castle ruins were used in the construction. The first single malt whiskey was distilled in 2017.

The first batch strength limited edition from Torabhaig.

Torabhaig Allt Gleann matured for approximately 60 months in first fill bourbon barrels and refill whiskey barrels . Bottled with a powerful 61.1 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered, 22.8 ppm.

Aroma: Sweet with malt sugar and ashy peat smoke, spices, iodine and coniferous wood, maritime.

Taste: Peat smoke with characterful and complex accents as well as a maritime top note.
