Tomatin Cask Strength 0,7l, alc. 57,5 Vol.-%

The Tomatin distillery was founded in the Scottish Highlands in 1897 and was the largest whisky distillery in Scotland in the 1970s with 23 stills. In 1985, the distillery was sold to Japanese companies, which lowered the production level of Tomatin. Today, the distillery has a large number of different single malts in its range - with peat smoke and without, from a wide variety of casks.

Tomatin Cask Strength matured for an undefined period in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled with a strong 57.5% alcohol by volume.

Aroma: Citrus and sweet with sugar and fresh ginger, barley malt and delicate spiciness.

Taste: Oranges and limes, dry-grainy with a delicate sweetness, some spice and delicate oak.
