The Tomatin distillery was founded in the Scottish Highlands in 1897 and was the largest whisky distillery in Scotland in the 1970s with 23 stills. In 1985, the distillery was sold to Japanese companies, which lowered the production level of Tomatin. Today, the distillery has a large number of different single malts in its range - with peat smoke and without, from a wide variety of casks.

Tomatin 14 Jahre reifte zuerst in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Portweinfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46 vol. % Alkohol, nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Reife Beerenfrüchte mit tiefer Malzigkeit, nussiger Schokolade und trockener Eiche.

Geschmack: Reife Trauben und rote Beeren, süß mit Honig und Fudge, trocken mit Heu und Eiche.
