The Singleton of Dufftown 18 years 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Dufftown Distillery was built from an old mill in 1895 by Peter Mackenzie, Richard Stackpole, John Symon and Charles MacPherson. It was the sixth distillery to be established in the famous whiskey town of Dufftown. The single malts from the distillery are sold under the brand name "The Singleton" by the spirits group Diageo.

The Singleton of Dufftown 18 years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Ripe fruit notes, roasted hazelnuts, slightly chocolaty oak, sweet.

Taste: Apples and pears, nutty with vanilla and caramel, mint and a hint of liquorice.
