Dufftown Distillery was built from an old mill in 1895 by Peter Mackenzie, Richard Stackpole, John Symon and Charles MacPherson. It was the sixth distillery to be established in the famous whiskey town of Dufftown. The single malts from the distillery are sold under the brand name "The Singleton" by the spirits group Diageo.
The Singleton of Dufftown 17 years matured the entire time in Hogsheads. Bottled with a strong 55.1 vol. % alcohol.
Aroma: Flowery, grassy with fresh fruits, aromatic mix of sweetness and spice, mild oak.
Taste: Vanilla and caramel, some pepper with ripe pears, floral notes and delicate oak.
