The Talisker distillery was established on the Isle of Skye in Scotland in 1831. The name is derived from the Talisker House estate, which is located a few miles to the west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960, which destroyed almost the entire distillery, Talisker was faithfully rebuilt a few years later. The breathtaking landscape of Skye attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom are enthusiastic about the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker Distillers Edition reifte zuerst in Eichenholzfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Amoroso-Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 45,8 vol. % Alkohol.

Aroma: Schokoladig mit Anklängen von grünen und lila Weintrauben, zartem Rauch und leicht trockener Eiche.

Geschmack: Mix aus Karamell und Pfeffer, geröstetem Gerstenmalz, hellen Trockenfrüchten und mildem Torfrauch.
