Talisker 8 years Special Release 2021 0.7l, alc. 59.7 Vol.-%

The Talisker distillery was built in 1831 on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The name is derived from the Talisker House property, located a few miles west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960 that almost completely destroyed the distillery, Talisker was rebuilt true to the original a few years later. Skye's breathtaking landscape attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom are enthusiastic about the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker 8 years matured the entire time in oak barrels. Bottled with a powerful 59.7 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Malty with a slight sweetness, maritime notes, earthy with spicy peat smoke.

Taste: Powdered sugar sweetness with floral notes, peppery spiciness and maritime smoky notes.
