Founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii as a beverage company, Suntory is Japan's largest whiskey producer. Distilleries such as Yamazaki and Hakushu are owned by the company and are enjoying growing popularity around the world with their single malts. In 2014 the Jim Beam company was acquired with all owned distilleries in the US, Ireland and Scotland including all other brands. Suntory is one of the five largest spirits companies in the world.

Suntory Hibiki Japanese Harmony matured for an undefined period in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and fresh Japanese oak (Mizunara) casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Grainy and sweet with a subtle spiciness, tart notes and floral hints.

Taste: Fruity with candied oranges, peel, grainy grain, fresh ginger and some oak.
