Stauning Smoke Danish Single Malt Whisky 0,7l, alc. 47 Vol.-%

The Stauning Distillery was founded in 2005 in the small town of the same name in Denmark. Production began in 2009 with an initial output of 60,000 pure alcohol per year. After Diageo acquired a stake in the distillery, the plant was expanded and output increased to 750,000 pure alcohol per year. Stauning malts the rye for production and sometimes uses peat and heather for kilning.

Stauning Smoke reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon-, Rum- und Madeirafässern, ergänzt um frische Eichenholzfässer (Virgin Oak). Abgefüllt mit 47 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Floral und würzig mit Anklängen von Zitrusfrüchten, leichter Lagerfeuerrauch.

Geschmack: Süß mit Honig, würzig, Tabak und frische Kräuter, Heidekraut und Zitrus.
