Stauning Rye Sherry Cask Finish Whisky 0,7l, alc. 53,1 Vol.-%

The Stauning Distillery was founded in 2005 in the small town of the same name in Denmark. Production began in 2009 with an initial output of 60,000 pure alcohol per year. After Diageo acquired a stake in the distillery, the plant was expanded and output increased to 750,000 pure alcohol per year. Stauning malts the rye for production and sometimes uses peat and heather for kilning.

Stauning Rye reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in American Virgin Oak Fässern und erhielt ein Finish in Oloroso & Moscatel Sherry Fässern. 
Abgefüllt mit 53,1 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Süße Aromen von Vanille, Toffee und Wiesenhonig. Dazu fruchtige Noten der Sherryfässer.

Geschmack: Sevilla-Orange, Fenchel und Tabak. Schwarzer Tee und Demerara-Zucker ergänzen die fruchtigen und würzigen Komponenten.
