Stauning Kaos Danish Whisky 0,7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The Stauning Distillery was founded in 2005 in the small town of the same name in Denmark. Production began in 2009 with an initial output of 60,000 pure alcohol per year. After Diageo acquired a stake in the distillery, the plant was expanded and output increased to 750,000 pure alcohol per year. Stauning malts the rye for production and sometimes uses peat and heather for kilning.

Stauning Kaos reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und Fässern aus frischer Eiche (Virgin Oak). Abgefüllt mit 46 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Tiefe Getreidenote mit Walnuss und Tabak, trockenem Rauch, frischer Eiche und Gewürzen.

Geschmack: Anklänge von Zitrus und grünen Äpfeln, würzig mit Pfeffer, Lakritz und etwas Rauch.
