Stauning Floor Malted Rye Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 48% by volume

The Stauning Distillery was founded in 2005 in the town of the same name in Denmark. Production began in 2009, initially with 60,000 pure alcohol bottles per year. After Diageo acquired a stake in the distillery, the facility was expanded and the annual output increased to 750,000 pure alcohol. Stauning malts the rye for production and occasionally uses peat and heather for kilning.

Stauning Floor Malted Rye matured in fresh oak barrels (Virgin Oak) for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 48% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Emphasized cereals with bread dough, spices and fruity chewy candies, dry wood.

Taste: Sweet with herbs and spices, forest honey and some pepper, peach and oak.
