Founded in 1828, the Springbank Distillery is one of the last remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region, down from over 30 in the area. What makes the distillery special is that it produces three different single malt whiskies: Springbank, Hazelburn, and Longrow. Each of these three single malts has a distinct character and delights connoisseurs worldwide. Springbank is the oldest family-owned distillery in Scotland.

Springbank 5 Years matured the entire time in former bourbon barrels, bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV, without added colouring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: This whisky has a bright and lively opening with notes of green apples, broom, wine gums and a mineral note.

Taste: On the palate, it is well-balanced with a hint of peat smoke and sweet notes of powdered sugar and white chocolate. Hints of tomato plants, sunflower seeds, and linseed oil develop.
