Scapa Glansa Single Malt Scotch Whisky 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Scapa Distillery, founded in 1885, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Highland Park distillery. By Scottish standards, the distillery produces relatively little single malt whisky, which makes bottlings from Scapa rather rare. After extensive renovations, during which production was discontinued in places or taken over by employees of the Highland Park Distillery, Scapa has been distilling continuously again since 2004.

Scapa Glansa reifte für nicht definierte Zeit zuerst in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Fässern, in denen zuvor rauchiger Whisky lagerte. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Säuerlich-süße Fruchtnoten mit milder Würzigkeit, zarter Süße, Heidekraut und einem Hauch Rauch.

Geschmack: Süß mit Kräuterhonig und etwas Pfeffer, grüne Äpfel, würzig-floral mit etwas Rauch und Leder.
