Redbreast 12 years Cask Strength 0.7l, alc. 57.2 Vol.-%

In 1966, the companies John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (operating the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. It was subsequently decided to close the existing distilleries and consolidate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975 production ended in the Old Jameson Distillery and began in the new one. The old distillery has now been converted into a visitor center.

Redbreast 12 Years Cask Strength matured the entire time in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled with a strong 57.2% vol. Alcohol, not cold filtered.

Aroma: Roasted grains with peppery spice, citrus fruits and zest, dry oak.

Taste: Spice and sweetness in the mix, pepper and caramel, blood orange and grapefruit, dry grain.
