Old Pulteney 10 years 1.0l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Pulteney Distillery, which bottles its single malts as "Old Pulteney", was founded in 1826 in the port town of Wick in the northern Highlands. When the distillery opened, the town of Wick was experiencing a massive boom in herring fishing. The large number of people employed in the fishing industry forced the town council to ban alcohol in Wick. Pulteney is one of a few Scottish distilleries located in the city center rather than outside.

Old Pulteney 10 years matured the entire time in former bourbon barrels. Bottled with a mild 40% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Floral and fruity with distinctive sweetness, fruit acidity and spicy oak.

Taste: Green apples and citrus notes, sweet with vanilla and caramel, fresh and maritime.
