NC'Nean Organic Batch 01 Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

The Highland Distillery story began in 2012 when Annabel Thomas had the idea of ​​starting a distillery producing single malt whiskey. Since her parents had bought the Drimnin estate a few years earlier, this location was an obvious choice. Drimnin was also the originally planned name for the distillery. Ultimately, though, Mal settled on the name Nc'Nean, which is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, a spirit queen of Gaelic legend.

Nc'Nean Organic matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and red wine casks for an undefined period. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Robust barley malt with a slightly dry oak note, herbs, delicate oak and fruit.

Taste: Malty and dry with herbs, red currants, liquorice and some oak, floral.
