Mossburn Speyside Rich Blend 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The first bottling under the Mossburn name was released in 2017 as a series of classic independent bottlings. Over the nearly three decades prior, the team developed and honed their skills in blending and bottling whiskeys and a variety of other spirits. Today, Mossburn has various single malt and blended malt whiskeys in its range and operates two distilleries in Scotland at the same time.

Mossburn Speyside "Rich" Cask No. 2 first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Herbal with hints of tea, delicate sweetness with dry, tart grain and a hint of fruit.

Taste: Crunchy grain with sugary sweetness, some pepper and light, unripe fruit, delicate oak.
