Michel Couvreur Overaged Malt Whisky, 0.7l, alc. 43% by volume

Michel Couvreur is a wine and spirits merchant from Burgundy, France, who buys high-quality wine casks (especially sherry casks from Spain) and Scottish distillate on the other hand, in order to fill these casks with the New Make in France. Since the bottling does not take place in Scotland, the finished whiskey cannot be called Scotch. In addition, Michel Couvreur refrains from naming the distillery on his labels because he is convinced of the meaningfulness of his products - independent of a specific distillery.

Michel Couvreur Overaged matured in ex-sherry casks for 12 to 27 years. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol, without dye.

Nose: Hints of dark dried fruit, sugary sweetness, malt, mild spice and oak.

Taste: Fruity with raisins, brown sugar, chocolaty oak wood note with some tobacco.
