Michel Couvreur is a wine and spirits merchant from Burgundy, France, who buys high-quality wine casks (especially sherry casks from Spain) and Scottish distillate on the other hand, in order to fill these casks with the New Make in France. Since the bottling does not take place in Scotland, the finished whiskey cannot be called Scotch. In addition, Michel Couvreur refrains from naming the distillery on his labels because he is convinced of the meaningfulness of his products - independent of a specific distillery.

Michel Couvreur Clearach matured in ex-sherry casks from 2017-2020. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol, without dye.

Aroma: Hints of fruit, accentuated by cereals with almonds and grassy freshness.

Taste: Delicate sweetness, honey and malt sugar, slightly spicy with grain and citrus.
