Michel Couvreur is a wine and spirits merchant from Burgundy, France, who buys high-quality wine casks (especially sherry casks from Spain) and Scottish distillate on the other hand, in order to fill these casks with the New Make in France. Since the bottling does not take place in Scotland, the finished whiskey cannot be called Scotch. In addition, Michel Couvreur refrains from naming the distillery on his labels because he is convinced of the meaningfulness of his products - independent of a specific distillery.

Michel Couvreur Candid matured in former sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled with a strong 49% vol. Alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Sweet and creamy with aromatic spiciness, chocolate and dry oak, accented with malt.

Taste: Sweet with caramel and marshmallows, bitter almonds with some spice, pepper, sulfur.
