Malibu originally comes from Barbados and is now produced not only in the Caribbean, but also in Canada and Spain.

The bright, crystal-clear liqueur in the plain white 0.7l liter bottle from Pernod Ricard is made from white rum, cane sugar and coconut extracts.

As a result, the syrupy Caribbean liqueur tastes very sweet and is therefore also suitable for consumption neat over ice.

Due to its alcohol content of just 21 percent by volume, Malibu can often be found in fruity cocktails and long drinks.

However, if you want to intensify the coconut flavor of the Caribbean liqueur, it is best to mix Malibu with milk to create your own coconut milk.
