Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon 0,7l, alc. 45 Vol.-%

Maker's Mark is unusual in many ways. For example, the spelling of the word whisky without the "e", as is usual for bourbon from Kentucky. Secondly, rye is not used within the grain. Maker's Mark is sold in square bottles sealed with red wax. The founder's wife once gave the whisky its name, drew the label and came up with the idea of dipping the bottles in wax, which gives the bottle its unmistakable appearance.

Maker's Mark matured for an undefined period in fresh American white oak barrels (Virgin Oak). Bottled with 45 % vol. Alcohol, without colorant.

Aroma: Sweet with vanilla and honey, cocoa, dry oak notes, mildly spicy.

Taste: Spicy with clove, sweet vanilla, toffee, nutty oak, cereal accentuated.
