Macallan 30 years Sherry Cask 2023 0.7l, alc. 43 Vol.-%

The Macallan distillery, located in the town of Craigellachie on the banks of the River Spey, was one of the first legal distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1824, Macallan is now one of the largest producers of single malt whiskey in Scotland. Old bottlings regularly achieve record sums at auctions around the world. Since 2017, a total of 36 stills have been produced in the new distillery.

Macallan 30 Years Sherry Oak matured the entire time in oak barrels from Jerez, Spain, which previously housed Oloroso sherry . Bottled at 43 vol. % alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Numerous notes of sherry meet oranges, cloves, nutmeg and wood smoke.

Taste: silky smooth on the palate, with aromas of dried fruits, sherry and delicate hints of oak
