The Macallan distillery, located in the town of Craigellachie on the banks of the River Spey, was one of the first legal distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1824, Macallan is now one of the largest producers of single malt whiskey in Scotland. Old bottlings regularly achieve record sums at auctions around the world. Since 2017, a total of 36 stills have been produced in the new distillery.

Macallan 25 Years Sherry Oak matured the entire time in European oak barrels that previously contained the finest sherry. . Bottled at 43 vol. % alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Dried fruits such as oranges, raisins and apricots, underlined by ginger and oak wood.

Taste: Rich character of dried fruits, black cherries, dark chocolate combined with ginger and roasted almonds.
