Macallan Distillery, located in the town of Craigellachie on the banks of the River Spey, was one of the first legal distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1824, Macallan is now one of the largest producers of single malt whiskey in Scotland. Old bottlings regularly achieve record sums at auctions worldwide. Since 2017, the new distillery has been producing on a total of 36 stills.

Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak matured the entire time in former sherry casks. Bottled at 43 vol. % alcohol, without coloring.

Nose: Dried fruit and hints of ginger, creamy and sweet with notes of coffee, milk chocolate and cinnamon.

Palate: Fruity and sweet with candied ginger and oranges, dried fruit, spicy with clove and tobacco.
