Lochlea Our Barley Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

Lochlea Distillery has been producing single malt whiskey in the Scottish Lowlands since 2018. The barley used for production is grown and harvested on our own fields. The Scottish national poet Robert Burns lived on the property from 1777 to 1784 and supported the family in day-to-day business. Lochlea Distillery Manager is John Campbell, who was poached from Laphroaig.

Lochlea Our Barley matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and STR red wine casks for an indefinite period. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet and grainy with hints of light fruit, citrus and a hint of spice.

Taste: Mild fruitiness with pear and citrus, sweet icing sugar, some pepper and barley malt.
