Lagg Distillery on the southern tip of the picturesque Isle of Arran was completed in 2019. From day one the distillery has worked under the direction of Graham Omand to create a heavily peated, modern single malt whiskey full of character. For the inaugural releases, the team used Concerto malted barley, water from their own well and Aberdeenshire peat, giving the Lagg whiskey the perfect smooth, aromatic, woody smoke. The Lagg Kilmory is the new flagship in the distillery's core range.

Lagg Kilmory Edition matured in ex-bourbon casks for an unspecified amount of time. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Charcoal fire with peat smoke, hay and citrus, maritime notes with some sweetness and spice.

Palate: Phenolic smokiness with lemons and zest, hints of vanilla and barley malt.
