Knockando Distillery was founded in 1898 during the whiskey boom and was named after the town in which it is located. The distillery sells its own single malts with an age statement. However, the main output goes into the J&B Blended Scotch Whisky. As early as 1985, the one billionth bottle of Knockando was filled in the distillery in the presence of then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Knockando 18 years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Ripe fruit notes with a subtle mix of spices and sweetness, vanilla fudge and grainy grain.

Palate: Sweet with almonds and toffee, pickled pears and ripe apples, malty with dry oak.
