When Kilchoman Distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain amount of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malt floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of smoky whiskey all over the world, which means that Kilchoman is expanding little by little.

Kilchoman Genesis Stage 4 matured for an undefined period of time in a combination of former 75% bourbon casks, 20% cognac casks, 5% sherry casks. Bottled with a strong 49.1% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Rich in fresh fruits with light peat smoke and a sweet note.

Taste: Tropical fruits and dried fruits with caramel sweetness and a hint of spice.
