Kilchoman French Inspiration #2 0,7l, alc. 49.1 vol.%

When Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain proportion of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malting floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of the smoky whiskey around the world, which means that Kilchoman is gradually expanding.

Kilchoman French Inspiration #2 matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, Oloroso and Sauternes casks for an indefinite period. Bottled with a strong 49.1% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Hints of dry hay and tobacco, salted caramel and peat smoke, delicately fruity with citrus.

Palate: Floral with dry herbs, sweet honey and a splash of orange, oily peat smoke.
