Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured 2023 0.7l, alc. 50 Vol.-%

When Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain proportion of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malting floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of the smoky whiskey around the world, which means that Kilchoman is gradually expanding.

Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured 2023 matured in ex-cognac casks for a minimum of 6 years. Bottled at a strong 50% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Ripe fruit notes with a dry herbal blend, subtle sweetness, maritime smoky with hints of ash and buttery notes.

Taste: Fruity and fresh with lemons, ripe apples and some cinnamon, sweet peat smoke with dry oak and herbs.
