Kilchoman Casado Islay Single Malt 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

When Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain proportion of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malting floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of the smoky whiskey around the world, which means that Kilchoman is gradually expanding.

Kilchoman Casado first matured in ex-bourbon casks for 6 years and then received a post-maturation of 2 years in Portuguese wine casks. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Dry wood smoke with fruity accents, herbs and spices, some marzipan.

Taste: Spicy with pepper and thyme, maritime and smoky with hints of apricots and citrus.
