Kilchoman 100% Islay 13th Edition 2023 0.7l, alc. 50 Vol.-%

When Kilchoman Distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain amount of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malt floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of smoky whiskey all over the world, which means that Kilchoman is expanding little by little.

Kilchoman 100% Islay 13th Edition 2023 matured in former bourbon barrels for an undefined period of time. Bottled with a strong 50% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Malted bread, toffee apple, banana bread, citrus, lavender, pears, sea salt and a hint of peat smoke.

Taste: Fresh vanilla and fragrant peat smoke with caramel, barley flowers, sultanas and a hint of spicy oak tannins.
