
In 1987, John Teeling acquired a former government-owned distillery called Ceimici Teoranta Distillery, which produced potato distillates. After the renaming to Cooley Distillery, he equipped the distillery so that it can produce both single malt and single grain. With the acquisition of the old Kilbeggan Distillery, John Teeling created space to store his whiskeys produced at the Cooley Distillery.
Kilbeggan Triple Cask matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and American white oak casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.
