Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak, 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

Founded in 1956, King Car Group is an influential company in the Taiwanese food industry. After Taiwan joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2002 and the state liquor monopoly fell, TT Lee, owner and founder of the King Car Group, fulfilled a dream by building a whiskey distillery. Construction began in April 2006 and production of Kavalan Single Malt Whiskey began nine months later.

Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak matured in Oloroso sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Nutty and spicy with dried fruits, marzipan and vanilla. Strong oak aromas with caramel and raisins.

Taste: Sweet and slightly dry. Chocolate with dried fruits and spices.
