Established in 1810, Jura Distillery is located in the only town on the island of the same name, Craighead. The distillery is sixty miles from the Scottish coast but despite the inaccessibility has managed to steadily increase production volumes and sell their single malt all over the world. Many visitors to the neighboring island of Islay take the opportunity to cross over to Jura during their visit.

Jura The Sound first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at 42.5% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Roasted aromas, nutty, ripe fruit notes with sweet spices and oak, earthy and slightly mineral.

Taste: Hints of wild berries, caramel and fudge, mild spice note with some cloves and delicately chocolatey oak.
