Jura 18 Years Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 42% by volume

Aroma: Full fruit notes with a subtle sweetness that goes in the direction of flavored vanilla cream. Roasted chestnuts, some tart notes of chocolate and coffee.

Taste: Dark currants, caramelized peaches and marzipan tarts as well as fresh ginger. Red wine cake, red currants and clove spice.

Finish: Long lasting with fresh citrus fruits and fine tannins from the French oak.

The Isle of Jura 18 Year Old was originally intended for travel retail, but now whiskey connoisseurs and Jura fans can also enjoy this adult single malt with a barrique wine cask finish.

First, the single malt was stored in former bourbon barrels before it was matured in former wine casks, so that it shows a special depth and complexity.

The barrique barrels come from the Bordelais and housed wines of special quality, which are provided with the title Premier Grand Cru Classé.
