Jameson Five Oak Cask Release 0,7l alc. 46 Vol.-%

In 1966, the companies John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and concentrate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975, production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has since been converted into a visitor center.

Jameson IPA  reifte die komplette Zeit in fünf verschiedenen Eichenfässern (Ex-Bourbonfässern, Ex-Sherryfässern sowie in Virgin Oak Fässern aus Irland, Europa und den USA.) Abgefüllt mit 46% vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: In der Nase entfaltet der Whiskey eine exotische Süße, gepaart mit Nuancen von Vanille und Eiche, durchzogen von Frucht- und Gewürznoten.

Geschmack: Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Jameson Five Oak Cask Release intensiv und vielschichtig. Er vereint den Geschmack von frischen Früchten, Vanille und Gewürzen mit der Würze von Eiche und einem Hauch von Honig.
