Jameson Distiller's Batch Irish Whiskey 0,7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

In 1966, John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son, and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. Afterwards, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and consolidate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. Production at the Old Jameson Distillery ceased in 1975 and began at the new one. The old distillery has since been converted into a visitor center.

Jameson Distiller's Batch Single Pot Still matured for the entire time in five different oak casks (ex-bourbon casks, ex-sherry casks, and virgin oak casks from Ireland, Europe, and the USA).
Bottled at 46% ABV.

Nose: Honey, salted caramel, vanilla, fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, spicy oak

Taste: Dark chocolate, toffee, ginger, orange peel
