Jameson 18 Years Blended Irish Whiskey, 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

In 1966, the companies John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (operating the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. It was subsequently decided to close the existing distilleries and consolidate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975 production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has now been converted into a visitor centre.

Jameson 18 years matured the entire time in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks and was then matured in bourbon casks. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol.

Nose: Creamy sweetness with aromatic spices, ripe citrus, leather and dry oak.

Taste: Sweet with toffee, vanilla and brown sugar, roasted nuts, ripe oranges, grains and spicy oak.
