Opened in 2017, the Raasay Distillery is the first legal distillery on the Scottish island of Raasay. Working in partnership with local smallholder farmers, the distillery grows its own barley on the island, using locally sourced peat for drying. Raasay is committed to expanding these partnerships to produce a 100% island-grown single malt whisky.

Isle of Raasay The Draam Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured for an unspecified time in a combination of ex-rye and red wine casks, supplemented by fresh oak casks. Bottled at 46.4% ABV, without added coloring and non-chill filtered.

Aroma: Delicate, sweet and spicy peat smoke with barley malt, powdered sugar and hints of fruit.

Taste: Spicy grain with delicate marshmallow sweetness, maritime freshness, pepper and a hint of smoke.
