Islay Mist Original Blended Scotch Whisky 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Islay Mist brand owes its existence to a celebration held to mark the 21st birthday of the son (later Lord Margadale) of the Laird of Islay House. It was thought that the famous Laphroaig single malt might be too heavy for such an important celebration with guests from near and far, so it was blended with selected Speyside single malts and Lowland single grains. The result proved so popular that a similar bottling was marketed under the name Islay Mist.

Islay Mist The Original Peated Blend is the ageless entry into the brand's range and matured for an undefined period in oak casks. Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.

Aroma: Sweet and cereal-driven with dried herbs, mild spices, leather and some peat smoke.

Taste: Sweet and spicy in the mix, fresh citrus fruits with maritime notes, cereals and a little smoke.
